Senator Al-Makura Pays New APC Nat'l Chair Congratulatory Visit 

Immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has Sunday paid newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu (Turakin  Keffi) a congratulatory visit. 

Senator Al-Makura who currently represents Nasarawa South at the Nigerian Senate visited the Senator Adamu (APC, Nasarawa West) at his residence in Abuja. 

He congratulated him and assured him of support to take the governing party to greater heights. 

Senator Adamu emerged as the new helmsman on Saturday unopposed after after six (6) Aspirants withdrew from the race to pave way for him through consensus. The aspirants include Senator Al-Makura, Dr. George Akume and Mallam Saliu Mustapha from Kwara State. 

Others are immediate past Governor of Zamfara State, Mallam Abdul'Aziz Yari, Senator Sani Musa Mohammed and Comrade Etsu Mohammed.
